Picnic for the Whole Family!

What are you doing on Saturday, May 14th?  Hopefully attending the Neighborhood Center's Annual Luncheon and Open House, on the grounds of the Center's picnic grove!

Here’s what's happening on Saturday May 14th beginning at 10:30 a.m.

1.       Fun and Games for our Community (think bouncing rides) with Shobo the Clown

2.       Tours of the newly renovated Deaconess Home and Community Center (Main Building)

3.       Planting of the Center's Urban Farm with volunteers and our Teen Farmers led by Kim Coffina, Mary Boltz, and Kelly Lyons

4.       Music and Performances by our Teen Jazz Artists in Residence

5.       Barbecue Lunch by the Center's Executive Chef Lou Wilson

Menu:

·         BBQ Chicken

·         Pulled Pork

·         Grilled Italian Sausage

·         Cheese Burgers

·         Spring Garden Salad

·         Balsamic Vinaigrette

·         Mediterranean Pasta Salad (Feta, Arugula, Cucumbers)

·         Country Potato Salad

·         Fresh Cut Fruit Cups

·         Lemonade and Ice Tea

 

We recognize that many of our donors do not wish to drive to Camden but we are going to try to provide transportation to the Center from your local Church.  If enough people are interested we will arrange for our bus to pick you up and drop you off or we can arrange car pooling.

Cost: Pay as You are Able - Proceeds benefit the Center's Evening Teen Programming
